Right by the motorway
The A1 exit Ybbs/Wieselburg is five minutes away. Parking at the house is free, with four 11-kW EV charging points on the lot.

Late meeting, late arrival – no problem. Check-in works at any hour, no reception desk required.
MORNINGS
Breakfast from 6:30 on weekdays
Hotel guests start Mo–Fr at 6:30, ahead of the buffet hours (7:30–11:00; weekends and holidays until 1 pm). Breakfast is included in the room rate.
EVENINGS
Dinner without driving
The rooftop restaurant HAFNERBAR is upstairs in the same house – kitchen open Mo–Sa 5–9 pm. Wi-Fi runs throughout the hotel, no sign-in.
There are hotels with a fireplace in the lobby. And there is the Hafnerhotel.
The stoves are the heating: six Kachelofen central heating systems temper the whole house, fired with pellets rather than oil or gas. The warmth comes gently through floors and surfaces – in summer, the same surfaces cool. The room climate stays pleasant all year round.

Floors and surfaces work evenly and silently. These rooms have no stove of their own.
Kachelofen suites: fire in the room
If you want the fire itself, stay here: in the suites Castello, DaVinci and Infinita, the stove burns right in the room on request.
kWp of photovoltaics: cooled with solar power
The water-based surfaces cool with heat-pump support. On hot days, the sun supplies the electricity for it.

In the evening, the menu runs from the Häferl – our Mostviertel poke bowl – to the burger with a Wagyu patty from the Wagyuhof in Haag, joined by signature drinks and the sunset on the roof terrace. In the morning, a big breakfast buffet is set up with a view all the way to the Ötscher.
